The Penryn PTC board consists of officers, as well as coordinators and committee leads. All officer and coordinator positions are on a 1-year term, with up to an 8x renewal option. Committee leads are on a limited term based on the event or position held.

Board position descriptions:

Officers:

President:

Oversee all event organization
Coordinate with all board positions on duties
Work with Principal on any school/PTC matters
Preside over bi-monthly general PTC meetings
Attend monthly PTC President’s meetings
Update site and mobile app
Assume responsibilities of any open board or committee lead

Vice President:

Support the President & assume duties of President if needed
Take on any tasks or duties assigned by the President
Help plan and execute events

Secretary:

Create meeting agendas–make copies for meetings
Bring sign-in sheet to meetings
Take detailed notes at meetings
Help plan and execute events

Treasurer:

Bi-monthly reimbursements & bills
Update Quickbooks monthly
Print budget for general meetings
Make bank deposits
Withdraw petty cash for events
File annual taxes

Coordinators:

Communications:
Send out all PTC emails, push notifications, and Facebook posts
Coordinate with Secretary on weekly newsletter info
Create event posters and signs
1-year term

Spirit Wear:
Coordinate with Premier Graphix and GameDay Gear for all spirit wear needs
1-year term

Room Parent Coordinator:
Send out event emails to room parents
Coordinate with Secretary on monthly luncheons
1-year term

Box Tops Coordinator:
Organize all box tops submissions
Coordinate submission with Box Top For Education
2x per school year

Restaurant Fundraiser Coordinator:
Book all monthly fundraisers
Coordinate with Communications Coordinator on notifications
1-year term

Honor Roll Coordinator:
Order pins and pennants
Coordinate beverages and donuts
Set up refreshments
Once per school year (December)

Membership Coordinator:
Organize and process all annual memberships
